Watched it and enjoyed it. How come nobody mentioned the dude who plays Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother stars in it? Have they ever worked parkour into that show or had him speak fluent french? Was not expecting that.

:::facepalm::: that is David Belle, the ‘creator’ of Parkour, not Ted Mosby.

I can’t be the only one… /wink

It is pretty uncanny…

If you haven’t seen Brubaker in a while I highly suggest watching it again. It is a classic.

Finished both seasons of Party Down and it was 20 episodes of pure awesome.

Also almost done with Day Break and man what a good ride the show is.

From Paris with Love was ok not a horrible action flick.

I do have one though that I think people should watch it showed up on my suggestions list. Its called Eden Log and it is a little like Pandorium but not exactly the same. If you a little Sci Fi horror then check it out.

I may have to track down the originals as I just watched the streaming one last night; very enjoyable. But can someone explain why the actors are speaking in sweedish some of the time (while in Sweeden?) but english (when in the Holy Land) others? And by speaking I mean ‘not dubbed’. Thought that was odd.

Starz is pulling back too.

LOS ANGELES – Starz has become the latest pay TV channel to pull back from its embrace of subscription video provider Netflix Inc. and treat it more like a competitor.

The channel, a unit of Liberty Media Corp., said Thursday that beginning with its new “Camelot” series on April 1, new episodes of original series will be allowed to play on Netflix Inc.'s streaming service only 90 days after they debut on Starz.

I’m working my way through the entire series of South Park right now. I never really watched the show beyond a few early episodes and the movie so never appreciated how awesomely great it is. So good.

Holy crap on a truck, if you haven’t seen or heard of “A Town Called Panic”, you HAVE TO SEE IT. It’s a hallucinogenic stop motion imagination-thon, where Cowboy and Indian accidentally order 50 million bricks and end up fighting mermen by buying a pearl machine and dressing a horse up like Santa Clause. And it all makes sense and is hilarious. It’s like spending 70 minutes with a hilarious, intelligent, wildly imaginative 5 year old who has AWESOME parents.

Highest possible recommendation.

Eh. Starz is still airing their original shows on Netflix before they ever hit disc. Not having them go up immediately is kind of petty, but at least they’re going to go up. Ever watched an HBO show on Netflix streaming?

I am not 100% how I came about searching for this movie but I was looking for the movie Tank here is a summary,

Sergeant Major Zak Carey is serving what is his final tour of duty at an Army base somewhere in the South. Zak doesn’t like the way the Army keeps the base and the bar is not what he’s accustomed to. So he goes off base to get a beer. When he goes to the bar one of the local prostitutes tries to come on to Zak but Zak turns her down. That’s when the deputy who appears to be her pimp beating her up. That’s when Zak strikes him. Later he learns that the Sheriff is corrupt and takes what happened to the Deputy as an attack on him and tries to get Zak but the Army backs him and Zak is not intimidated. That’s when they arrest his son on trumped up drug charges. Before Zak can fix it, his wife tries to get a lawyer for their son but this only pushes the Sheriff to send their son to a prison farm. With no other recourse Zak gets into his own vintage Sherman Tank and busts his son out and they try to make it to the state line so that they can expose the Sheriff.

It is a classical mid 80’s movie which was actually able to hold my attention for the whole 2 hours. Its about a tank that fucks shit up in the south. What is not to love?

Just finished The Nines and that was a great ride. I really like where they took the story. I do wish it were in HD though :(

Is The Nines worth my time?

Edited.

I guess so.

Yeah I really enjoyed it.
