Watched The Experiment earlier today and really enjoyed it. It stars Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker, both of whom do a superb job with their roles, especially Whitaker. It was a bit predictable and I wish I got to know more of the other prisoners, but it had an interesting premise and was tense throughout.

This is why Netflix sucks the big one. They giveth and they taketh away.

Well their year lease is up on April 1, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Buffy will disappear; the lease might just get renewed.

At least, I really hope so… I just finished Season 3 last night, and want to continue. I had planned to watch Angel S1 and Buffy S4 concurrently since there were some crossover episodes, but they’re both scheduled to expire on April 1. So I can only hope they’ll be renewed.

If not, there’s always Hulu Plus.

Ah, but that would require me to spend more money that I don’t currently have. Oh well.

Lots of James Bond films hit today - guess I can kiss my next two weekends goodbye. Also, Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive, John Carpenter’s The Fog (the original), and Francis Ford Copploa’s The Conversation.

Lots of a lot of things hit today. They threw up tons of TV shows, as well as unveiled their new TV show display format where all seasons are under one heading. Oh, and that link is to Twin Peaks, all 30 episodes.

It looks like Buffy and Xfiles have not expired as previously thought?

They just added Theremin, which is way more interesting than a documentary about an obscure electronic musical instrument has any right to be.

Woo! The TV show thing was getting out of hand, it tended to clog things utterly.

cheers, wings, mission impossible, medium, melrose place, the fog, the conversation, top gear, dead alive, twin peaks, and a couple hundred other entries.

Where are you getting a list? I can’t seem to get it out of Netflix’s site, and the other site I know of (instantwatcher.com) is only showing one new show today.

rss feed using google reader.

Totally forgot this existed, and I was very happy to rediscover it: How to Get Ahead in Advertising.

They did expire, I checked it last night after midnight and they were gone… but now they’re back. I assume they just renewed the license. I’m happy, anyway.

I cannot stand the interface on the Xbox – I see about 70 titles in any given category, and that’s it. I go through the list via the web, and the category listings don’t seem to show these new titles. I had exactly your reaction: “Those sound great, but where the hell are they?”

Having the same issue, if had to manually search for the titles from that rss feed to get them to show up in the interface.

24, seasons 1 through 7 had said they were expiring on Apr 1st, so I never started watching the show. They’re back now, though, so woo!

Dammit! We need more time!!!

That same thing happened with Old Boy. My guess as to why that happens is the same as benloran’s.

I watched the first season of the Canadian series Intelligence and thought it was pretty good. Have the second queued up.
