The game with Scott went really well for me. We both starting going 100% aggressive. After the first battle, I was a bit lower on HP but I had him netted. He never got out of that net :D

The match with Dave and I was absolutely incredible. Top match of the MP by far. I have tried to write a cool summery and can’t do it. Too much happend. There were rockets tucked away in safety, and point blank shotguns… Fancy mobile guns redirecting and speeding up to neutralize threats… Nets netting nets netting guns shooting at slower guns… It was awesome!

Was that the only tile that could have done that (even if there are multiples in the starting pile)? I don’t think SMART has a ranged/piercing tile that has Initiative 3 by default. Ugh.

I could have got a push and shoved you out of the way again, or a move… The gauss cannon was hitting you either way. I just needed to make sure your unit didn’t hit me as well. Lucky :>

MP6 Results: Sotnik (Jungle) beats Scottyboie (Hegemony) 18-17
Playing jungle against any army which has netters is tough. We had a situation in the middle of the game when Scotty had 5 damage pointing directly at my HQ with only one vacant tile on the board. No one triggered the battle though so Scotty and I kept passing turns and discarding tiles (probably for like 7-8 turns) until I’ve drawn the Castle tile I was waiting for and got away from the damage :) Good game Scotty, I just got a little more luck on my side in this one.

Vs Annie, I was lucky to net her HQ early. Every time she took a shot at it, I drew the perfect counter. Medic!

Vs Pastose, I thought I’d never get through his shields. I played the long game, and luckily pulled a battle right after temporarily forcing a gap. We nearly tied but once again a health module saved my game. GG.

Mp6 A.o.D rats beats Dann Borgo 20 to 11

Game was closer than it shows. Managed to avoid his nets and two shooters to come way with the win.

Yeah, that was almost all last turn “Win More” damage. I was trembling with rage at my game long inability to actually get a unit next to your HQ.

One of the difficult things about playing Borgo! They only get a grenade and it just removes a space around their HQ. If your opponent can keep back , your swarms of melee guys can’t do any damage.

I’ve said this to a few people, but when playing Borgo I think the 2 mobile ranged guys are equal in value to the net-fighters, if not better in some situations. Don’t toss those or let them die!
