Oh, I definitely feel the heat of the borgos gods on me for that quip. My starting tiles’ got me scratching my head. Just remember that you too, get to enjoy a permanently netted rocket launcher in the second match!

GG :) I had control from the beginning and had practically wrote the game off until I realized that she was a one push tile away from building an infini-damage deathray in my HQ’s face. Luckily for me, she didn’t get it :D

MP8: jay > sotnik. It was a good game and I got lucky in that his air strike didn’t have a significant impact. It was a long game, so I don’t remember if it came out super early or he didn’t get it at all. Either way, I was able to hold on and dig in for win. 15-10.

Clyve, sorry for taking so long with the playoff game, I’m at the denial stage of grief where I think that if I come back to the board later, the tiles will rearrange itself and I’ll come up with a brilliant solution wherein my permanetted rocket launcher will make it across the board and turn into a queen.

Just got an iPad, downloaded the lite version to see what all the fuss was about. Worst tutorial ever. Had no more idea how to play the game after watching it than before. Compared to the detailed, interactive tutorials in Agricola, Star Realms, heck practically every other game I’ve downloaded so far, 0/10. If you can’t be bothered to teach this complex game correctly, I can’t be bothered to learn it.

deanco, it’s worth learning! The free version hasn’t been updated since the earliest days of the app and the paid version is far more polished. Maybe we can help you get over the initial hurtle so you can sink your teeth in :D
