Semifinals MP 15.1: jaygittings > annie peeps. annie had a tough run in the middle of just attack and push tiles (2 consecutive rounds). This gave me a chance to dig in and surround her. Had to be frustrating for her.

Do we mirror match or am I on to the finals?

I don’t think that a mirror match makes a lot of sense when we’re sticking with one team the whole time. Although it does reward flexibility!

Good game K_Watt! Every (competitive) game with Vegas is like this. If Vegas is going to win it is going to be close, and the opponent is never going to get blown out. It is frustrating from my end too! One wrong move or bad draw and it is game over.

Note, I did get pretty lucky here with units and battle tiles letting me ping your HQ a few times, getting a head start in damage is crucial.

Joe, I liked how you were able to wedge yourself into the corner with the two shields as well, that saved you from a few early pot shots :p. I’m stealing that move :)

Yes, those did help a lot too. I like to think of Vegas HQ as a mob boss, surround him with goons, a couple of well placed bribes here or there…
