I think that any time someone checks into a game (to see if it’s their turn), it sends a notification to the opponent. I also think that soondifferent figured that out. But if it wasn’t him, it was opkopk most likely. Definitely wasn’t prolix.

It does seem to me that Dancer’s a bit overpowered though. With just movement and battle tiles (not to mention the dance), you’re less likely to be at the mercy of the RNG. Whereas if your opponent doesn’t get the right tiles in hand, he/she is eating maybe 3+ damage every turn.

Dooms day machine and the rats seem pretty balanced to me.

The dancer is/was a user created army so I can definitely see that. I personally love the dynamic between units and the HQ so I can’t stand the Dancers.

Happens to me all the time. Take my latest game with ankamela. I just lost, 19-0. Couldn’t draw anything to save my life, most of my units were drawn, and summarily executed, even Judges. Perfect Battle tile draws for ankamela.

Based on my very limited knowledge of and experience with the game, you drew each of your two Terror tiles at the perfect times (board nearly filled, and I subsequently draw units that would swing the upcoming forced battle in my favor), your Sniper tile came up at the perfect time, and your reusable unit (Cyborg) entered the board in the first two or three rounds. It was a good game, but also a very frustrating one for me. :-(

(Looking over my notes)

The Bio Droid entered Round 3, and was a sacrifice almost every round.
First battle, failed to get a shot off - Universal Soldier + Scout for 4 init preempted it.
Second Battle - Managed to kill the Universal Soldier + 1 hit on HQ , dead at the end (HQ).

Every battle but the last the Bio Droid ended up dead.

It looks like I got the Terrors and Pushes at good times as well, though you drew usable tiles on both Terrors (Move and Battle), opting to throw the Move, and hold the Battle, only to throw it on the next turn (You drew another battle).

Yes, Bio Droid is the recyclable unit. It is because it keeps another tile from appearing. So, where you as Heg see 3 new tiles every turn, I’m only seeing 2. It can also lead to situations at the end of the game where I have 3-9 tiles left and the game is over, plus all the tiles I’m having to discard to keep the Bio Droid. There is a downside.

I keep notes in tournaments. They’re pretty bare. Mainly what tiles showed up in hand, what was discarded and some basic battle notes. It does help to know when all of Heg’s nets have come out, or the Judges from SP, and so on.

I’m not faulting you for taking such notes, but I prefer to mimic the play of the physical versions of these adaptations as much as possible. Then again, none of those games are played over several days, where information gleaned is lost from memory.

It’s also too much bookkeeping for me for playing game, regardless of whether or not it’s a league game. :-)

I didn’t even post them the poor BOLDLY way.
I won those two games. BOLDLY.
Until Tapatalk gives me a [B] tag pair I’ll be reduced to BOLDLYing. It’s a travesty really.
