New development: Internet trolling gets a place in the political scene.

USA Congress studying Reddit moderators decissions.

Hillary Clinton against the use of the Rare Pepe meme.

The funny way to say this would be “Internet is leaking to the real world”. My version to say it is… politics love attention, large forums are large groups of people. Large forums can have large traction. Politics seems to be more similar to the bad posters that post memes than other type of posters. Theres a synergy here between internet trolls and politicians. One that is a new development.

I blame Obama IAMA for all of this.

Now we live in a universe where high ranking politicians can have a hate for a particular internet meme, or use his twitter account to troll people. I find that interesting.

Yep :(

The Economist/YouGov poll released Tuesday shows that a staggering 46% of Trump voters believe the so-called “Pizzagate” conspiracy, which began circulating on obscure sites like 4chan and Reddit ahead of Election Day before spurring controversy on Twitter and Facebook.

Further, the poll showed that 60% of Trump voters believe the President-elect’s false claim that “millions" of people "voted illegally” in this election, while half think it’s “at least probably true” that President Obama was born in Kenya — a claim originated by the notorious “birther” conspiracy, which attempted to delegitimize the first African-American President.

Pizza gate is straight up insane. And a dude was arrested for carrying a gun in there and firing it believing that utter nonsense.

Earth: Hella fucked.

The headline of the newspaper I’m starting for 2017.

The only headline we’re running, all year long.

In the past they would blame dungeons & dragons or comic books or rock and roll music or violent video games. It’s the flavor of the month of things not understood by politicians and the knee jerk reaction is to blame it for anything and everything and make people afraid of it so they will be more malleable.

On the upside, when trump destroys democracy, revolution will be the only option left, and the trump supporters and their families will die in the resulting anarchy.

It’s a great time to remember that the zombie genre was born as satire aimed at Americans who herd around malls, devoted to consumerism, unable to think for themselves. So, go pick up Dead Rising and you can start training for the revolution.

Twitter used has a weapon to confuse everyone and give real time a surreal twist

(I know. Another post with Trump. The dude is everywhere!. )
