I’m with Mordrak, I think, this thread is really just embarrassing. On the one hand we have:

hardcore fans of the original Fallout who are really unhappy that the new Fallout game isn’t similar enough, in their view, to the original games. As a result they’re really obnoxious and irrationally condescending towards people who don’t share that view, and have thown in some troofer nonsense about gaming journalists/publications all being paid off and exaggerating their self-importance.

vs.

people who don’t share their views about Fallout and/or are offended by what they’ve said, who are just piling on and kicking the first group in the head, far beyond what was reasonably necessary to refute their nonsense, and without giving any of their legitimate concerns/complaints any credence - it’s devolved into an impromptu game of bully, and it just seems distasteful and such a waste of time.

Scharmers gets points for the Orz though.
