*I don’t know, nor do I care, about the differences between traits, stats, perks, etc, so if karma isn’t a “trait,” I don’t care. You know what I mean.

I don’t understand the last part of what you are saying, but I agree with the idea of a larger impact of the new karma system. What I’m asking is if the idea that no npc even flinched when you shoot in the saloon could be a result of the karma checks being too powerful, and becoming a stumbling block to the intent of creating a believable and alive game world. The author of the piece seems to ask the same thing, and I don’t have the answer.

Would like to know more, but maybe that was just a glitch on the AI, I don’t know.
