I should amend my statement somewhat… A guy posting at Anandtech does, but not this guy, unless they’re one and the same, and he’s just got different accounts.

Seems like if he really wanted to prove he had a copy, he’d have taken a picture of the screen somewhere where no one has seen yet in a preview. That picture could easily have been photoshopped from any number of sources.
I’m not saying I don’t believe he really has it, I’m just saying he’s a moron.

Though this seems plant-ish, I don’t see what Bethesda would have to gain from something like that. There’s already ton of excitement for Fallout 3 (I personally can’t wait to play it) - would they really think that they need this to put them over the top?
My guess is that this is a legit leak - friend of a less-than-honest editor, someone at a first party, or something like that.
Edit: this could also be a friend/relative of someone who works at Bethesda with nothing but the best, but misguided, intentions.

Nobody has been given the game at any gaming publication yet.
That’s a photoshop (and not even a very good one), I can tell because I’ve seen quite a few pixels in my day.
I really don’t believe he’s got the game… as a poster on the linked site pointed out, there’s a PC right next to his TV, and many other easy ways to get photoshops onto a big screen TV.

I don’t know, looked like a legit menu screen to me. The placement/font looked aligned just right. I don’t think it’s too far out to think a copy got loose from MS cert. We’re only a month from release…
