Interesting. The Amazon “Exclusive Survival Edition” for the PS3 is currently unavailable. Can’t even preorder it. Luckily I did back in June!

But now I wonder if they’ve just sold out of preorders or whether they’ve cancelled the PS3 Survival Edition all together?

“NPC forget everything after 72 hours” might look like a stupid design decision but I have to admit this rule applies to a lot of people irl who couldn’t remember what happened last week if their life depended on it. How many time will I have to mention that I dont post on NMA nor the Codex ?

You share the mentality. It doesn’t matter if you actually post there or not, your absolute hatred of a product because of a few design decisions you don’t agree with puts you firmly IN that camp. You might as well go bitch about the game over there; those guys are really into the hate. We here tend to think it might end up being a pretty fun game with that Fallout RPG feel, and as such are largely excited about it.

I don’t think anyone would give two shits about Draikin if he said the game looks awful and then moved on and focused on games he might like; the behavior of a sane, rational person.

Instead, he’s obsessed over this game, likely hating it since it Bethesda acquired the rights in 2004. He comes in this thread over and over again posting little snide remarks about how Bethesda sucks, Todd Howard sucks, Oblivion sucks, and how Fallout 3 will undoubtedly suck. Even worse, he takes this into completely unrelated threads and brings up Oblivion or whatever.

And to top it all off, he’s both ridiculously stupid and a giant douchebag. This is all a recipe for why people hate you, Draikin, and why you’re associated with the mouth breathers at NMA or RPG Codex who act exactly the fucking same. The only difference is, they (thankfully) rarely venture out of their cesspits because the rational gaming populous hates them.

As for that jack-ass, I had to speak up because almost EVERY time I see something that makes me a little more excited that FO3 will be a blast and a stand-up RPG in it’s own right, the guys at NMA totally HATE the very thing I just thought was cool. Fallout 3 Hands-On - IGN

At another point I came down off a mountainous ridge and in a clearing found a curious humanoid perched on what looked to be a chair or some kind. I approached and before long he (or she, it was hard to tell) started screaming and sent a pack of giant cockroaches my way. This person was, apparently, some sort of roach king, and happened to have a mini-gun and lots of ammunition, which made dealing with the roaches all the more intense with the sideways rain of bullets.
