I haven’t been paying attention. Has Godwin’s been invoked in this thread yet?

What, are you some kind of forum Nazi?

I see what you did there.

Please explain this statement in a way that doesn’t make you sound crazy.

Huh? I adblock sites that make me want to jab my eyes out after seeing the unadulterated stupid and nerdrage contained therein. There’s only two so far: NMA and RPG Codex.

Does jabbing your eyes out after visiting the Codex count as nerdrage? If it does, then please continue.

Aha… so you blocked them to outsmart your many enemies who attempt to trick you into clicking on links that lead there. How very clever and not at all batshit insane of you.

I read some of that article, but couldn’t read any further. I don’t see what the big deal is, I have all the various Rickrolls I have encountered blocked. There’s no reason to go on the offensive because someone doesn’t want to read anything from the Codex.

The article is focused on games where you control a party, which IIRC isn’t the case with CoD (or FO3 for that matter).

I adblock things I don’t want to see again, whether it be shitty sites or awful pictures. I don’t see what the big deal is, guy.

But then again, I’m batshit insane.

It’s actually not his fault, usedpilot. It’s this thread. Everything it touches turns to shit.

Rich, smooth, creamy shit.

I don’t think that sounds crazy, blocking a site you don’t want to go to. And those are two great sites to block, if you are an actual fan of the Fallout series.

As opposed to, say, just not going there?

The whole point of AdBlock is to excise content embedded in web pages. Using it to block an entire site is an excursion into moonbat territory.

It is my firm belief that the privilege of blocking entire sites should be reserved for the hosts file. Apart from these kinds of technical issues with your point, you are still very much batshit fucking insane for feeling the need to invoke the help of a browser plugin in lieu of the garden variety self-restraint. The status bar is there for a reason - use it.

I really don’t understand RPGCodex. They don’t seem to like any RPG’s that ever get released or even announced. It’s like they have some rose-tinted idea of some RPG’s they played in the past and if current games don’t meet that standard, they aren’t worth buying. Are you an RPG fan if you don’t play them anymore?

A batshit insane RPG Fan. Maybe?

Wow, I’m sorry I offend you guys with my browsing habits.

jesus christ, take it easy

Last I checked, The Witcher and Mask of the Betrayer were well received there.

FATE and Depths of Peril were too, IIRC.
