Am I the only one that has no complaint about getting Achievements for getting through particular story points in a game?

It somewhat diminishes the concept when it is more difficult to avoid the achievement than to get it.

In fact, reverse achievements would be interesting. ‘Unable to pull off even one simple combo.’

I can’t think of a specific example, but I know there are Achievements in games that are “awarded” for screwing up multiple times and the like.

I think the first achievement should always be super easy. Just a little “Thank you for buying our game, we love you!”

There seem to be at least 3-4 for just getting through the tutorial area of the game.

Some Team Ninja games have ‘bad’ achievements, like for losing to much ,playing in easy mode ,etc etc.
Itagaki is a badass :)

Blitz: tL had some negative achievements for sucking online, and Guitar Hero 2 (or was it 3?) had an achievement for failing a song in the last 1% and for rejecting an encore request, both things people wouldn’t normally think to do (the fact that you could see the achievements and go, “Oh, ok I’ll do that then” lessened it, they should have been hidden until you failed).

What are the PC system requirements?
Minimum System Requirements:

Hmmm, I’m good for everything there except:

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz

Is that a minimum level proc or recomended level? This will be the make-or-break for PC buy or 360 buy.

That has to be the first time anyone accused me of that.

Anyway, seeing as how the game just went gold today, yeah, that’s a piratin’. Once again, my faith in humanity is shattered.

Yeah, but my faith in Draikin is confirmed! So there’s that.

It’s definately up in the usual places. Thousands have it already. (Xbox only)

the minimum is this:

2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor

So I’m below the minimum? 360 it is.

I wonder what the policy requirements are for 360 achievements. If it’s just the “1000 points worth per game excluding DLC addons” I’d like to see a game that aggressively used a mix of positive points, negative points, and 0-point achievements to total 1000 should someone manage to get all three hundred of them.

This guy has been playing all day: [link deleted]

I condemn piracy for sure, but I can see how it’d be tempting to start playing the game ASAP. It kinda sucks to know that gold discs are out there somewhere and they’re being held back until 10/28!

I don’t know that much about hardware but it looks like you’re above the minimum.

You have a dual-core, which is the recommended spec.

Hey, there’s a child. I thought they took kids out of Fallout 3.

They’re in, they just have a freakish immunity to harm.
