That’s correct. They’ll cry, etc., and run away.
One can only hope this “new dialogue” doesn’t involve candy or unmarked vans.
Or Jesus Juice.
The whole Ladykiller/Black Widow perk is going to screw with my efforts to be a a mutant lesbian.

So this guy has been broadcasting all morning and he just logged off with his Gamer Tag for the whole world to see. (Great Luffy) Can’t they just ban the guy? I mean, he still has the game and probably will keep broadcasting, but it’s some form of retribution. Or if they really wanted to they could track his credit card from the live account and sue him, but seems like he’s probably from another country and not worth the effort.
For that matter, can’t they just see who’s been playing FO3 through Xbox Live, cross out all the media/reviewers, and get all ban happy?
Has that happened before with other leaks?
That mostly just brings up the question of how it will look when they’re at ground zero of a huge blast. Do they just get up and walk it off? If you pursue them, do the bullets simply pa-zing off of their impenetrable hides?

It doesn’t look like they’ve been able to shut him down since he’s in Russia. That other live feed (Spikemouth I think), he said he’d been contacted by Zeni and threatened so he shut it down immediately.
There’s one notable instance when you can’t even fire, but for the most part they just run away when hit/threatened
But can’t they ban him from Live? For-ever and eee-ternity?

How’s the run away/flee in terror animation? Arms fully extended upwards and a nice bit of floaty text crying AIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

So for those of you that have played the game, how do the skills and perks stack up? Are speech, intelligence, and charisma as important as previous titles, where you could largely ignore combat stats and concentrate on them to expose more of the story? What about science and repair? How would you spec your character to expose the maximum amount of story, get the “optimal” results from quests, and minimize combat?
And more random questions… does sneak work like oblivion, and is it worthwhile to sneak around? 1H or 2H weapon specialization? Are explosives worthwhile in F3, finally? What effect does luck have, are there still special encounters determined by luck? How do tag skills work in F3? Any answers to questions I forgot to ask for the slew of new players in 2 weeks?

“Would you like to pet my Pony, little Sonya?”
From one of the stinkiest dens of the Internet (I forgot why I stopped going there, now I remember):
“Shadowarrior13> grabbed it last night, plot is original but gameplay is exactly the same as oblivion still not bad”
The teenangst has spoketh!
So there you have it.
Personally, I’m waiting untill it is out and Tom has a chance to crank it to its knees. I trust his judgement, mostly.

Desslock, do you have a feature coming up for this game?

Foxstab, my question was aimed at the media guys on this forum, primarily Desslock. Not some monkey NMA pirate.
That’s what I meant by specialization. The question came up when reading the perks list. Which do you prefer, 2H or 1H weapons? Any bias?
Did you play console, PC, or both? Since there won’t be any construction set to make the decision a gimme, assuming you have a PC that’ll play the game, are there any platform advantages?
How is the humor Desslock? Compared to Fallout 1 & 2.
2-handed for sure - assault guns, combat shotgun, rifles, and an easter egg 44 c weapon. But there’s good 1-handed weapons too, including another easter egg that’s better than any other weapon, I believe. Both are viable, and choosing both perks is also reasonable.
PC only. The PC version runs much smoother than Oblivion, and looks better, for what it’s worth (very good frame rate on a system with a single 8800 GTS at 1920x1200). But I suspect there’s the usual bunch of hardware issues with the PC version that will become more apparent once it’s stress-tested by the zillions of possible system/driver configurations. My main system explosed a bug with SLI support (on my specific cards only - 8800 GTS, not GTX) for which Nvidia is working on a fix.
