You’ve clearly misinterpreted something here.

What did you do to Foxstab? Is he still alive?

I’m OK with it being grandiose for just the title screen as long as the other soundtrack pieces are more “mood”/ambient oriented. :)

They posted a Dev Diary on the development of some of the concept art for the game. It’s a pretty decent read:

Fallout 3 – for Jihadis by Jihadis

ROFL nicely accrediting the image properly…

And here I expected intelligent commentary from Michelle Malkin.

That’s awesome.

SITE also released a computer-generated image, showing Washington DC in the aftermath of a nuclear attack, which reportedly appeared on an Islamist forum.

lol. Isama Bin Draiken?

Craig Mullins: Concept artist, painter, terrorist sympathizer?

Keith Olbermann just exposed this story on MSNBC tonight, a couple minutes ago. I suppose any press is good press.

I think Jack Thompson might have just found his new calling.

I really pisses me off when clueless people use the gaming industry out of context like this. These people probably have no clue or concept of the previous Fallout titles and they really don’t care either. It’s just like the jackass a few months ago who posted about “Mass Effect” being a sex simulator. And none of them have any integrity on what they write or claim, refusing to even respond to reasonably written questions and comments.

As if the crazy jihadis are capable of actually creating something as awesome as that art. Or creating anything for that matter. They’ve really got to get better taste in porn for their forums though.

I REALLY like the main theme but the Megaton track does nothing for me.

The Into the Wasteland isnt bad, but the image that goes with it suggests that the main char might have a Dog/Wolf companion from the start, similar to fable 2. I havent been keeping up with the FO3 info, is this confirmed?

You find the dog in a random encounter, so no you don’t have him from the start. It’ll probably work similar to the first Frank Horrigan encounter in Fallout 2.

Warning! Extremely graphic horrifying images of mass destruction.

Hummmm : http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/JinsDangerousToys/Fallout3.html

oh my, he’s gone cross-eyed.

Bah, this is nothing like Civ 4: the ultimate nuclear Jihad simulator.

QT3’s Tom Chick takes a bat to the hornet’s nest:

Well, speaking of those websites

But the really funny thing here is - our issue isn’t that Oblivion with Guns sounds bad, it’s that Fallout 3 being Oblivion with Guns sounds bad.

The point just soared over mr Chick’s head, there.

He must have suffered for a momentary lapse of reason, as far as I can recall this is the guy that hates swords and faeries RPGs. Doesn’t make much sense to support both Fallout 3 and Oblivion in this case. As far as it goes, if his Oblivion Fallout 3 is truly the case then he’d just be playing the same game with a different setting.

Makes him sound like a lazy gamer, makes him sound like a hypocrite.

Heh, looking at the comments, seems he actually called Fallout “Bethesda’s saga” before being correct.

Bethesda has the media in quite a vice-like grip, doesn’t it? They dance to their beck and call.

My idea of “Oblivion with guns would be frickin’ awesome”: the guns are real, loaded, and pointed at the Oblivion buyers. In fact, “frickin’ awesome” doesn’t even begin to describe the sensation… (EVIL SMILEY)

I give them the first laugh, bet let’s see who’s lauhing in the end, when at least a few people will say that Fallout 3 was bland and so on, and i think this will happen, as it did with Oblivion…
And maybe the joke will then also be on the ones who praised Fallout 3 like it was a new Messiahs… (<------you just got fucking BURNED,Tom Chick)

Ugh…why can’t people generally be allowed to have some criticism of popular mainstream stuff in video games? I mean…this guy’s almost echoing the mentality of the “new” SA that thinks anyone who detracts is a contrarian just trying to look cool.

That’s gone in my sig. As Bart Simpson would say, ‘The ironing is delicious’.

Detractors – and there are entire websites teeming with them – dismiss Fallout 3 as Oblivion with guns. But the joke’s on them. Who in his right mind wouldn’t think that Oblivion with guns would be frickin’ awesome?

I didn’t even play FO1 or finished FO2, but this still makes me sick…
