We did an interview with Todd Howard today and he talked about some new weapons you’ll be able to build in the game, the level scaling, and the influence of the other Fallout games, among other things. No new footage, but I thought some may find it interesting.

I think some people in this thread forgot to level up.
All I could think that whole level was ‘bring it you silly ass ghost and I will show you who should be scared of who’. If you put me in the role of a vampire with supernatural powers and guns then don’t ask me to be afraid of glimpses of ghosts and whispered voices. Don’t get me wrong as I enjoyed the ghost house level in bloodlines as I did most of the game.
Would I have liked a turn based Fallout like the first two? Sure. Will I enjoy an Oblivion-esq FO3? Yes. I am looking forward to playing FO3. I am confident that Bethesda will provide me with an entertaining game as they did in Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion.
I’ve got to agree with Jafisob. I felt exactly the same way - it was a great, creepy level, but, uh, I’m an immortal monster who’s gone beyond death. Ghosts don’t scare me anymore.

A pissed off wraith can do bad things to vampires, especially low-rung ones like you are in the early game. There are reasons the Giovanni are so feared.
But I’ll grant you that that information is not really available in game.
It’s great the first time. On replay, it’s just tedious, and its presence in the main questline makes it unavoidable without some clever console hacking.

Fallout Boy doesn’t seem quite as cheerful as he used to be.
It’s because Bethesda sucked all the life out of him.
Kinda’ looks a bit less boyish. Like Fallout Teen, or something.
Edit: Just saw all the scans - yeah, he’s definitely more angsty now.
