I really enjoyed my time with Stellar Monarch my own self. One of the better 4X games out of the recent glut, I feel.
My thoughts , I want to like galciv 3, but it’s just the weaker of the 3, it’s not bad, but well.
Endless space 2 is definitively a ramp up from its first one, they have added a ton of stuff, and the graphics are gorgeous, the races are solidly alien. Still, Stellaris win easily, and that’s almost solely cause the modding scene is awesome and that Star Trek mod is pure gold.
So.
1 - Stellaris
2 - Endless space 2
3- Galciv 3
I don’t think I’ll ever buy GalCiv3, the other two, yeah I’m game.
GalCiv3’s abstraction between galaxy and system does not work for me.
