I Made a Game with Zombies In It always brings a smile to my face. Inspired is a great word for that game.

The 3rd game was some “The Warriors” beat 'em up.

Is that a Games on Demand, then, of The Warriors from the Xbox release?

Because if so, that was pretty fucking great, as surprised as I was to discover it.

No, other than the movie tie-in, this looked nothing like the awesome Warriors game. This looks like a multi-player Final Fight style game.

There’s a brawler in the Indie Games category that is more fun.

Um… which one? Saying “There’s X in the Indie Games category” is basically like saying “Neener fucking neener, there’s fun but YOU’LL never find it!”

Going to take a wild guess he means Streets of Fury.

And I meant it sort of in jest, since Streets of Fury is by no means a great game. It’s a hell of a lot more fun demo vs demo though.

As a contrast, Tom’s review of Zombie Apocalypse on Fidgit is very positive.

Apropos of nothing, is there any idea when the Darwinia game is coming out on this thing?

Toy Soldiers look promising:

A 3D tower defense game where you can take control of the towers (and units like planes and tanks).

It looks like there are some promising strategy games coming out on the Arcade. Military Madness looks like a sci-fi Panzer General, and Panzer General: Allied Assault looks like a board/card game Panzer General. So um, good if you like Panzer General?

That looks awesome! I love the old film vibe they have going on.

That does look cool and unique.

Well, considering that even this positive review starts with, “When you first jump into Zombie Apocalypse, it’s going to seem awfully shallow. And it is,” it’s no surprise that I didn’t see any of its alleged positive qualities in the trial. What I saw was a visually cluttered, low frame rate twin-stick shooter with not much to really recommend about it.

Toy Soldiers looks promising indeed. Great presentation.

Magicka announced for PC and supposedly XBLA. Looks pretty cool.

Looks a bit like Nox…

I was burned by Arkadian Warriors, so I’ll take a wait-and-see approach with this one.

…and that’s not a bad thing.
