Whoa! How did I miss this? Panzer General: Allied Assault was released today for 800 points! Has anyone played it, yet? The Official Xbox Magazine is the only review posted on Metacritic with an 80.
Also available today is Expansion Pack 1 for Duels of the Planeswalkers for 400 points.
I played the Panzer General demo and I liked it enough that I will be buying it at some point.
It has a learning curve because of all the new game concepts but I had a good time playing it. The map is super tiny, a 6x6 grid so units will quickly come to blows. The game has an incredibly high emphisis on playing cards, so this game feels like Magic the Gathering mashed up with <insert turn-based strategy game here>.
Whatever… I still had a good time playing it.

That looks great. Arkadian warriors was shit and I still played to completion on coop, and this seems much more interesting. Is there any news on the release date? Shadow Complex has me interested in XBLA again.

Man, I bought Tower Bloxx Deluxe. Which is just another in a long line of XBLA titles that I bought on impulse but will probably never touch.

RioGrande games is in talks to put Race for the Galaxy and Dominion on XBLA for 2010. Let’s hope it happens!
OMG, make it so. This would be an instant buy, especially Dominion. I’ll even be happy if they nickle and dime me to bankruptcy with all the expansions.

Call of Duty Classic comes out this Wednesday. Did anyone here play it already, by buying the Hardened Edition of Modern Warfare 2?
If it was a shorter game, I’d be more tempted, but I remember the original Call of Duty was a reaaaaaally long game. That middle section where you play as the British seemed to drag on forever. But then the Russian section at the end made it worth it by the end.
If you have Faygo pop where you live, try Rock n’ Rye. It tastes a bit like Josta did.
What I really miss is Diet Pepsi Twist. They’d brought it back as Diet Pepsi w/ Lemon when they brought out the new logo, but it was a “limited edition” for some reason.
On topic, when the hell is Serious Sam HD coming to XBLA? C’mon!

I haven’t played the sp in awhile, but I seem to remember it being fairly short at the time (as in around 8 hours). Of course, by today’s standards I guess that could be considered a long game.
And MSUSteve, Serious Sam is coming to XBLA sometime in December.
