True, but since it wasn’t mentioned, I don’t expect Trials to be discounted now. And if it was, it would probably be at 800 points (like Shadow Complex).
I would have paid full regular game retail for Shadow Complex and been satisfied with the purchase. This is a steal.

Less than five weeks though.
The Xbox Live Arcade version of Serious Sam HD will arrive with guns blazing on January 13, 2010.

This XBLA version will feature fifteen levels and four-player online co-op play. The PC version of the same game, which is already out, features a whopping 16 player co-op play for a price of $20.
Though the Xbox 360 version will offer 12 fewer co-op players, it will also cost $5 less, coming in at $15.

Do not underestimate the power of the Isometric side.

At least it’s less overpriced.
I don’t know 16 people I’d want to play Serious Sam with anyway – four person multi is perfect.

What on earth are you talking about? PC version isnt out yet… And wont be for some time
He’s talking about Serious Sam. He just has issues communicating because he’s a complete idiot.

If I’m not mistaken (and I probably am,) he was referring to Serious Sam HD, which definitely is out on the PC already. I know because I own the game. ;)

ah - thats probably it - just got confused by the referencing to Alien Breed in the first part of the post I guess
Chime coming on February 3rd. That movie is nice. I didn’t like Lumines, but this one might looks quite a bit different.
This week (today!) is Death by Cube and Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgement. The latter is a SRPG, and I vaguely remember playing the original on PS1. Interesting that they’re making a prequel to that game, but you can never have enough SRPGs in my book.
This Greed Corp game looks kind of interesting.
Picked up Lazy Raiders today. This game came out of nowhere for me and was a pleasant surprise. It is fun but not tooooo challenging (at least the first third), just action-y and puzzle-y enough to keep me interested, has a nice presentation, and I get to toss my avatar around. Definitely worth a demo play through if you have time.

So I was looking through the new XBLA Indie Games titles to gawk at the horrible art and came across Shoot 1up. The horrible boobs shooting lasers girl on the cover art was going to lead me to post about here mocking it but then I noticed that it was the same developer who made Weapon of Choice which was one of the best games I played last year. I’m not much of a shooter person but the demo was super fun, the whole expand and contract mechanic is great for a non-bullet hell game like this and the branching paths feature, much like in Weapon of Choice, can be utterly bizarre and wonderful… at one point I was able to take a path that let me go in any direction I wanted for a bit, even back the way I came. So don’t let the mecha-tits throw you off, there appears to be some genuine old school shooter goodness here.
It looks great. GAF thread has more info…

I was purposefully not trying to link the titcannons in the thread jackass.
And he has corrected your misguided efforts.
Shoot 1Up is a blast (ahem) and totally worth the $1 they are charging.

I find myself reminded of Tomb Raider, suddenly.
Actually, come to think of it the screenshots remind me of some old Amiga shooters. I just can’t call to mind which one I’m really thinking of most.
