It will either turn into a blowout fast as the Panthers are known for starting out very fast and put up more points in the first quarter than almost any other team. If Denvers D can hold on early and Manning play solid with putting up a few points even I really think they can make a game out of it.

Manziel is giving Ryan Leaf a run for his money.
Ryan Leaf was interviewed on the radio yesterday and even he was saying, “Wow.” Also said that he totally recognizes everything coming out of Manziel’s mouth because he was saying the same things 20 years ago.
As I recall tho, Leaf’s problems were more anger on the field. I don’t remember him having the same off the field issues.
It wasn’t just his anger on the field. He was lazy. He was abundantly talented in college compared to the other team, and he thought that he’d dominate in the NFL, not considering the fact that the talent on the opposing teams is just as good, if not better.
He gained 20 pounds before the combine. He skipped a mandatory symposium held by the NFL and was fined. He lacked maturity and work ethic (sounds familiar), and he couldn’t handle the job or the pressure.

Schefter reporting that althought teammates are trying to talk him out of it, Marshawn Lynch plans to retire. Wouldn’t be too surprising, honestly. Sort of thought this was where things were headed.

This has been one of the worst first halves of a Super Bowl in a while. Dumb penalties, bad turnovers and obviously blown plays. Both QBs look rattled.
Dreadful game so far. Hoping the second half picks it up.

I’m thinking that Denver still needs at least 10 more points if they’re going to win. I keep thinking that their defense is going to get tired in the 4th quarter.
