Viking game was great, and I’m glad they won, but I still think it’s a bullshit rule that in overtime the other team doesn’t at least get one chance to score after the team that won the toss scored.

This backup quarterback is doing a decent job so far.
He almost lasted a full quarter. I watched the hit a few times, surprised there wasn’t a flag, his leg was wrapped up and he was already headed down onto the ground when he got hit from behind.

I wondered this at the time as well. There was also helmet to helmet contact from Clowney and I’ve seen less flagged several times.
Every year in the playoffs, some key player gets taken out by a cheap shot. Even if he gets flagged, it’s completely worth it.
Like I said, this crew is awful. I missed it until the relay after Wentz came out, but they should have seen it. Don’t believe for a minute it was intentional, but should have been flagged.

Agreed. I didn’t see intent to injure there but it sure looked like a flag should have been thrown. Clowney did lead with the helmet.

Whew I cannot believe my Vikes pulled that off. Just wow. I thought the Saints (who have a great team) were gonna pull that off. But that overtime drive – I wish I could figure out what makes Cousins tick because sometimes he plays like a superstar, and sometimes he plays so reluctant and passive.
Maybe they shoulda included us in the NFL playoff film…
