Kristi, I do believe every Redskins fan said this too. And then our management said, “nah Kirk, we’re calling your bluff. Even TRY to get another team to pay you what you’re asking.” And he did. Surround Kirk with a line that can protect him and receivers that are good and magic does happen. The Redskins were just not going to be the team to do that.
Good luck to your Vikes next week. That drive was amazing.
I vote Seahawks-Vikings 🤣
There is almost no chance we can beat that 49er juggernaut … unless… well, maybe, our coaching and talent instills Cousins with a new way to play. Football control, Dalvin cook healthy, Rudolph ready to play! And my man Adam Thielen!
Our defense played so well today I was almost beside myself!
I thought there was no way they could beat the Saints! Some days Cousins plays like an all-pro. Cook makes a big difference to that team. If the defense shows up again next week who knows?
Run the ball like they did today and they certainly can.
Ya gotta make Garapalo nervous.
I am, but I live in Wisconsin and not in those two godforsaken border states.
ESPN is reporting that the Cowboys have hired McCarthy. Can’t imagine him getting along with Jones, but we’ll see.
Hint, it’s never offensive pass interference.
It’s not never offensive pass interference, but that little push is, indeed, never pass interference.
It will be interesting to see what the Pats do regarding Brady. On one hand, Brady at 43 is better than any rookie QB, and likely better than any free agent signing. It would make sense that they bring him back for one more year, give him some receivers and a solid offensive line. On the second hand, at some point they have to begin the post-Brady era and this year is as good as next year.
The third hand is Kraft. If there is even the slightest chance Brady suits up for another team this year, Kraft makes a deal happen to keep him.
Chris Collinworth predicted at the end of the NBC broadcast that the Patriot would let Brady go, but that he wasn’t ready to retire, and he thinks if Phillip Rivers retires, which is likely, then he thinks Brady will play for the Chargers next year.
Brady doesn’t strike me as the type to bow out early and go gracefully. I think he’s going to end up playing at least one season beyond when the Patriots finally cut ties.

Interesting article on speculating. They say the Pats have room for it. I suspect a short term contract if anything.
He also strikes me as someone vain enough to want to chase records with another team just to see if he can, ala Farve.
You think Brady is vain?
No way Brady leaves New England. If anything, I bet NE gets to keep him for cheap money, because Brady only wants one thing - another ring. And if that means taking a lower salary to fit in some elite receivers, he’ll do it. As he has many times in the past.
There’s a big difference between vanity and greed. Yeah, Brady is vain. Just look at his outfits every year at the Met Gala, although, to be fair, much of that may be at his wife’s prompting. I agree he isn’t money greedy, but then again, there’s his wife who earns a hell of lot more than him, so he doesn’t need to be.
You think Brady has so little ego as to accept a budget deal? I don’t think that’s the case, but maybe you are right.
He has taken team-friendly deals before. I have a hard time seeing him playing for anyone but the Patriots, because Kraft will happily get into a bidding war with himself to keep Brady. The man is like a son to him.

About records and winning? Yes, yes I do.
See above.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s one of what, thousands of sports people that are after the win. After the prize, etc. Should he -want- to continue to play and should the Pats actually spurn him, I could very much see him going elsewhere. The guy is loaded. Why even play now? Because of chasing that dream.
I’ll actually add here a humbling message as my stinger. We all KNOW Brady is the QB GOAT at this point. No question based on records. Many, me included, think he’s started his decline. So if you were Brady, what would you do? Cash in and move to broadcasting or something else? Or keep playing into your decline?
In his decline, he’s still better than most of the QB’s out there, and he’s on a team which will contend. They need to get him more WR’s however (and they tried this year, but AB and JG couldn’t stick).
