Ouch, SF just shredded the KC D there. Need to tighten it up again! Mathieu sure showed his level of intensity as he just let the SF guy score without even trying to rip the ball out. Just bailed out at the goal line. Embarrassing.
I understand not calling the timeout before KC’s punt - the Niners’ offense isn’t built for an 80-yard 2-minute drill.

The sort of OPI that often doesn’t get called - but totally correct to call it.
Yeah, that’s fair. We had like four or five people at this Super Bowl eat-fest immediately say “Looks like he pushed off…” but also sorta surprised they called it.
Heading into the 2nd half, I think I’d feel marginally better if I were a Niners fan than I would if I were a Chiefs fan.

I think the Chiefs need to get behind so they open up the offense up a bit. Heck of a lot of running plays today and they’re not really playing their usual game. If it stays this close then I think SF might end up winning.

If they don’t score next drive the game is over, I think.
A FG and they’re still in a bad way. A TD and they’re fully in it still.
But a 3 and out or turnover and I’m calling it.

I don’t think it’s over if they get stopped. KC is still capable of scoring in ridiculously quick succession when pressed. It won’t look great but they’re only down 10 points.
And that is likely to be that.
