The fact that Bellicheck denies he views the video is meaningless.The ESPN report on Spy Gate 1 a few years ago said that there was an intermediary in charge of compiling charts based on the video & that was what was supplied to the coaching staff.Wouldn’t this still be the case?

I feel for the man. He is living proof of no matter the money, living situation, and support networks, addiction can be a horrid thing to overcome. If I man who had all those resources continually fails, it shows the struggle regular folks go through even more.

To some extent, yes, this. But also, this is just a damaged person making terrible choices and no amount of support system is going to stop him from doing so whether it’s marijuana, alcohol, gambling, or anything else.

I’m all for “who gives a shit about smoking weed” in basically all contexts south of pilots actively flying planes, but you gotta be a special kind of special to light millions of dollars on fire because gotta get high.

Weed isn’t heroin. It’s not alcohol, and it’s not anywhere close to nicotine. Gordon is clearly a person who needs help.

Major League Baseball has just taken weed off their list of items to test for. They have made some fairly progressive changes in the past couple weeks. Part of it has to do with the minor leagues I think, but also part of it is spending more resources on opiod addiction and PED’s.
