The consensus line on the Bears went from +1.5 to -3 in a half hour on Friday morning when multiple sources (reliable ones) reported that the Vikes were treating today’s game like a bye week game, and would be resting their starters throughout.

If the Dolphins win today, and the Chiefs win, then the Chiefs get a first round bye in the playoffs instead of the Patriots, I believe.

Kinda high stakes tonight…
For all the hand-wringing about Seattle’s RB injuries, I think the 49ers’ DL injury state will have more of an impact on the game. The 4 on IR (with one happening this week in practice) plus Dee Ford out again has turned what was an absolutely dominant group early in the season into an OK-ish group. If Tartt doesn’t play, the weakened secondary will be pushed especially hard by the weakened DL.

Don’t forget the opposing OL is missing their C, LT (his replacement was a turnstile last week), and TE1. And Seattle’s DL is also missing multiple guys and their best player gimping. Seattle gets back a starting CB, but still missing a safety who has been a major factor in generating turnovers.

Really, I think the key in this game is whether Seattle’s D can mount any sort of consistent pressure and find a way to limit the damage done by Kittle

Packers fan. My stakes are Green Bay proving to me in some way that they’re not the worst 12-3 team I’ve ever seen.

Before someone mentions their amazing defense again, it’s 9th in points allowed, 18th in yards allowed, 18th in passing yards allowed, and 23rd in rushing yards allowed.

They are playing for a first round bye, and are behind the 3-11-1 Lions by 17-3.

Amazing.
