Refuse to blame the loss on that when so many things were in their control.

Yeah, that call was brutal, as was the ridiculous delay of game. Wtf was that? They blew their timeout on the previous play, which seemed really stupid. They seemed completely unprepared to do anything when they got within 12 yards.
Then they couldn’t even stop Jimmy G for a safety so I could win my pick en league this week. Seattle sucks.
I hate the bears a tiny bit more.
I actually am not that upset that we are playing Philly as Minnesota worries me more. And we’ve played good on the road this year. Go Hawks.
Vikings can beat Philly. No problem. (hail mary full of grace)
I was thinking the delay of game was tactical or at least, it happened but they were OK with it? Maybe that’s nuts but Marshawn Lynch was stuffed getting one yard earlier on the 4th down conversion and I can see them just wanting the more time/space for a throw since they would have no time if the run did not work.
So next week:
Saints vs Vikings
Eagles vs Seattle
Patriots vs Titans
Texans vs Bills
Should make for an entertaining weekend of football.
I believe if Seattle wins, then they play the Niners again in SF.
Not if Vikings win. If they do, they would play 49ers.
I didn’t consider that, probably because I have already given the games to the Saints in my mind. I think the Saints are playing better than any team in the NFC right now.
Agreed. That’s certainly the likely scenario.
I thought he was short of the goal line but I also thought the previous play was PI. It seemed obvious to me.
No, it was because he was under constant duress because his offensive tackles stink. Cleveland managed to have the league’s leading rusher, two 1,000 yard receivers and win 6 games. Now I would like to see anyone who utters the words “Mike McCarthy” in connection with Cleveland bitch slapped.
He was clearly short of the goal line. Don’t see how that’s in dispute.
I’m not a fan of either team, but the previous play was pretty clear PI. I’d accept the excuse that it was both ways so they aren’t going to stop the game to review/reverse that (even though it would have given Seattle an extra down…) but saying that there was nothing foul-worthy there is ridiculous.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that his meeting with the Redskins today goes well,
That may be the most Lions stat I’ve ever seen.
So early prediction time:
Saints 35, Vikings 14
Eagles 20, Seattle 24
Patriots 27, Titans 28
Texans 31, Bills 27 (I hope I am wrong about this one).
Looks the Browns are interested in McDaniels.
