I have a good friend who is a Bucs fan, they are not as crappy as they sometimes appear. The Bucs get in the way of themselves more often than not. Truly, the change to Brady this year has been a good candle flame lit under the feet of the whole team.
It’s been too many years of late with me being pessimistic about my own team to hope we can throw up a defense strong enough to hold them down all game but for both teams, they -can- have flashes of brilliance. The difference this year is the Bucs have captured it more.
The betting line for Washington is +8.5, so I’m not the only one bearish on my own teams chances. But man, would it ever feel good to see the WFT Defense have a fantastic day.
I don’t expect them to win, but knocking Brady around could be a Path to success.

If you can put pressure on him rushing 4, you can beat him. He’s pretty good about beating a blitz, though.
I fear for Alex Smith tonight. He looked really fragile last week against a depleted Eagles front four and a tanking team overall. Tampa Bay is going to blitz like crazy up the middle, making him move, just as the Eagles did in the 2nd half. I’ll be amazed if the WFT scores more than 10 pts in that game.
