Of course the talk around here, especially after U of M lost to PSU, is that Harbaugh will be the Lions next HC

I just know that if I’m a Denver fan, I’m wondering why Baltimore gets to have their game postponed a few days. Probably wouldn’t help Denver too much to get an emergency QB from their own current roster prepped, but still. (Per a couple of NFL writers, NFL COVID protocols require a 5-day window for new signees to rosters to begin practice/play with their new teams, so that eliminates signing someone from outside the organization for this week.)

On second thought, forget Punter/QB hybrids. The Broncos need to rescue Lynn Bowden from the Dolphins’ practice squad. If he can lead the Kentucky Wildcats to an eight-win season while playing (almost) exclusively from the wildcat in the SEC, surely he won’t embarrass the Broncos anymore than Elway’s previous QB decisions already have.

That game was postponed TWICE! I was thinking the same thing.

Per a few NFL reports, I guess the differences are:

1. Baltimore has a full-fledged COVID outbreak on their hands. Multiple players, personnel.

2. Denver has one player with COVID, and then 3 more in isolation protocol…but not an outbreak.
