So Saints vs. Broncos delivered an unusual game. Both QBs, Taysom Hill and Kendall Hinton combined for a total of 91 yards passing. Has that ever happened in recent times? Hinton was 1-9 for 13 yards. Hill was 9-15 for 78 yards.
The Broncos managed a total of 112 yards of offense. Given that they didn’t really have a QB, that’s not too surprising.
You could literally grab a dude off the street, put him in a uniform, and throw him under center, and that’s basically what they did with Hinton. He was in a sales job a month ago, and then he was signed as a WR on the practice squad. And with about 24 hours notice, he was a starting QB in the NFL.
I have not seen Trubisky much before this game but man does he look bad.
They should give him one game’s average salary for a starting QB in the NFL.

I would say that he is not quite this awful generally but he is bad. Footwork has always been questionable and he just can’t consistently read the defense post snap.
There’s like 5-10 good QBs each year and another 10-15 mediocre QBs and everyone else is bad. Trubisky is well into the bad range.
At one point the Broncos were beating the Saints in passing yardage because Denver had 0 yards and New Orleans had -8.
My fantasy football opponent had Tyreek Hill. It went about like you’d expect.
Ouch. that’s gotta sting.
