Oh you sad, sad Bears. You let a totally lost and disrupted Lions team come back from a 10 point deficit, late in the 4th quarter. Welcome to the basement.

What the ever loving fuck was with that last 3 minutes?

If you mean the Bears/Lions game, the Bears defense isn’t good. They should be good, but they’re pretty bad. The OLB we got rid of because he couldn’t produce is tearing shit up for the Rams (Floyd), yet the human wrecking ball we picked up to replace him hasn’t done a thing aside from his first play from scrimmage this year. I don’t know what they’re teaching the defense to do, but it’s pretty damn terrible. I mean, how many 3rd and longs did Detroit pick up today? LIke 80%+ of them? It was a pathetic effort all game long. And this was in a game where the offense really did enough to win the game. The turnover was unfortunate on timing and location, to be sure. But the Lions shouldn’t have ever been near 30 points.

I’m done with the team this year. I’m not going to bother watching a game. Nothing but Red Zone for me the rest of the year.

5-0 at halftime? Definitely a Seahawks game.

I want a new rule in the NFL for next year and beyond: the day before a game, the league generates a random number from, say, 1-3, and then randoms from the starting roster of each team, and those 1-3 players are out for that game.

I think the roster disruption this year has made the game more interesting. Shitty reason of course, but an interesting unintended consequences.

JAX@MIN was an absolute turd, but Justin Jefferson is an absolute monster.

Looking at scores across the NFL, the Giants beat Seattle. What happened?

I’m guessing this makes them the new favorite to win the NFC east.

What happened was the Giants defense just played hell with Wilson and the Seattle offense. Wilson got sacked and rushed a LOT.

The Giants have won what, 4 straight now? They’re running away with the NFC East.

This from the Cleveland news site cleveland.com:

Your perspective on a potential Cleveland Browns playoff season in the midst of a world-wide pandemic may depend on which you found to be more likely to occur:

A virus altering life as we know it? Or the Browns playing consistently winning football?

C’mon, we all know that answer.

Nick Chubb’s running style reminds me of Jim Brown. Obviously not as dominant, but damn good.

Is Mayfield playing better these days? As a rookie he looked like the answer they had been looking for, but then he backslid a bit.

They’re asking him do do what he does well. Improvement by doing less, in essence.

I will never not be amused that there are honest to God people walking around with “Chubb” as a last name.

Elementary school must have been such fun!

Its an important part of eventually becoming a take no prisoners power back.

Probably made him fast and shifty!

Mayfield is definitely finding himself, and I suspect he will end up being a decent NFL QB. Not great, but he will have a career.

Kyler Murray, on the other hand, I expect to become a top-flight QB of the style of Wilson or maybe more of the running QBs like Randall Cunningham was… Unfortunately, those style QBs tend to have short careers because they get broken quickly.

Having a dominant running game helps every qb.

Yeah…but they had Chubb last year too.
