I just saw bits and pieces on Red Zone, but one odd thing really stood out. He’s brilliant at the fake handoff. I (and often the camera) were often genuinely confused as to whether he handed it off or kept it.
I mean, when was the last time Browns fans could legitimately say they had a Chubb?
Is that bald guy the kicker, Garo Yepremian? Forgive the name spelling. And who else? Paul Warfield? Is that the MLB Nick Buon…whatever next to him?
Kiick, Morris, Yepremian and Little.
Well, I got one out of four! I had forgotten about Kiick. I always think of Csonka and Morris.
Manny Fernandez…17 (?!!) Unassisted tackles in SB VII as a double-teamed NT. Always floors me. Jake Scott (FS) named MVP though with 3 INTs.
Our Kickers had the best names. Garo Yepremian, Uwe von Schamann, Wahoo McDaniel…
People would see me wearing 13, find out I was a Dolphins fan and think Marino, but I was wearing Scott’s number.
Later I joined a team where 13 was gone so I picked 47 in favour of that other Dolphins’ legend… Glenn Blackwood.
To give someone the reference for someone reading this thread later: I see the score from today’s game showing Steelers are no longer undefeated this season. They got beat by the Washington football team.
Fuad Reviez, Pete Stoyanovich
My fave is my number 10 jersey. Any guesses? :)
I’m going to guess you don’t have a thing for Kickers, so Don Strock.
Though to be fair to The Don, he did punt a number of times for us.
He had many talents.

Best game I ever attended. Heck, maybe that I ever saw. And it was a loss. That includes Marino’s comeback win against the Browns in the 1985 Divisional Playoffs.

Dear NFC East teams this week:
YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO LOSE!
I don’t care that the Steelers lost, I just wanted you to lose so we had the ‘glory’ of a 5 win division winner, the ending that execrable division deserved.
Sadly, the number of guys lifting this toast is getting smaller and smaller every year.
Don Shula’s death affected me more than anyone who was not a family member…
So the WFT and the Giants are fighting it out for the division crown while the Eagles and Cowboys languish behind. I’m assuming the Cowboys will lose Tuesday against the Ravens. Really pretty crazy.
