That missed field goal is going to hurt a lot.

Which one?

Jeez, 3 missed field goals now. Why is this guy on the team?

He actually has been one of the better kickers. Not sure what’s wrong with him tonight.

Why say that? Why say he’s done for the year? He can come back after quarantining. What if the Ravens sneak into the playoffs?

He’s talking himself out of a possible job in 2021.

Washed up prima donna WR throws hissy fit bc he can’t play old team. Update at 11.

What a shame! He’s human like the rest of us and has to deal with reality.

Dude has never struck me as particularly stable or self-aware.

I agree with this attitude. Every season has its own set of variances, whether it’s weather or injuries or other things. This season is no different, and I’ve been pretty entertained overall as well. Gold star, not an asterisk! I like it.

The Browns had Chubb last year, but they did not have the offensive line they have this year. They vastly improved three of the five positions on the OL and it’s showing in the results.

They also had Kitchens. Addition by subtraction again. 😀

Yes, Kitchens was Exhibit A for the Peter Principle. The man had no business trying to run a football team.

Awesome slam on Tua leaking to the press every two weeks at the end.

If you’ve never seen this amazingly weird play before, here you go: a 98-yard pass completion that DID NOT result in a touchdown – one of those records that cannot be broken in the NFL.

“Bobby Moore”, btw, was already in the process of converting from the Pentecostal church he’d grown up in, to Islam. By the following year he’d take the name by which he’s known to millions today: Ahmad Rashad.

(Baffled, buttoned-up Cardinals owner Bill Bidwill had not idea what to make of this, and ordered Rashad traded. The Cardinals dumped him on the Vikings for a backup QB in one of the worst NFL trades ever. Had Don Coryell been blessed with having Jim Hart, Terry Metcalf, Jim Otis, Mel Gray, Ike Harris, Jackie Smith, JV Cain AND Ahmad Rashad behind that legendary offensive line, the mid-1970s Big Red might’ve really made some things happen.)

I was always under the impression that Bill Bidwell wanted competitive teams, to draw in the fans, but one that didn’t win in the playoffs so he didn’t have to pay his players more.

Jim Hart is a forgotten talent, as was the Coryell Cardiac Cards as a team. Curse Bidwell.

Interesting look at that play: I think under today’s rules that would be called a touchdown, since Moore/Rashad landed on top of the defender as they slid into the end zone. Bad angle, but I’m not sure any part of him (that would rule him down) touches the ground.

Back when the Cards were in the NFC East!

Oh, there’s a football game tonight! It’s like there’s one every night of the week now!

So on Christmas, which is on a Friday, we have a game. We have games on Saturday after. Then Sunday. Then Monday. And if the 'rona strikes again we might have a Tuesday game! In terms of the NFL, this is either the greatest or the worst thing ever.
