Good news everyone! Washington has fixed the railing that collapsed last week.

And therein lies the rub, so to speak. The dude wants to win championships, but doesn’t seem to understand the best way to do that is with a strong supporting cast and playing within himself, rather than continual forcing the ball downfield when there are easier yards to be made elsewhere.

I’m not at all certain he wants to stay here because he thinks the team is holding him back (plot twist: the thing holding Russell back is primarily Russell).

To make matters worse, the idiotic Adams trade continues to punch us in the face. If they had just been willing to pay Frank Clark, so much might have been different.

There’s some major league level irony if Flores is going to spend the whole off-season hearing Harbaugh speculation, the way Tua has had to spend the off-season and half the season, and now again, hearing Watson speculation…:amen:

Got to imagine that there’s film of the sidelines.

That was my thought as well. If Arians really did the throat-slash motion, someone has that on film.

Let’s see, who to believe? A coach who just won it all and has (to my knowledge) no controversial personnel actions on his record in multiple organizations at the college and pro level… or Antonio Brown?

Gotta think about this one…

So they definitely knew he had ankle problems (and he was on the team’s injury report)

NFL teams are notoriously above board and truthful, particularly when it comes to honoring contracts that they signed knowing full well the personality of the player they games it it.

While I am never going to back Brown’s conduct, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Tampa side is also heavily spinning things. Arians’ comments about not knowing his starting WR’s ankle was injured are laughable when I knew his ankle was injured before the game because I checked the NFL official injury list before the game. The fact that they didn’t actually waive him yet is also weird given their other comments.

Very much this. AB has a body of work that suggests that he’s not a very good human being…but his texts and such do seem like a person who is in full control of his state of mind.

I can definitely see a situation where Arians is caught between not wanting a player (Brown), but being kind of forced into having him around because his star QB wants him. Which is something that’s been reported on earlier in the season. And having that situation put Arians in a really tough spot where he (and the Bucs) may have to be doing some serious spinning now.

This is all particularly damning both for Tampa and AB.

Bruce Arians is very well known as a beloved player’s coach. Players LOVE the guy, he is fair, caring, kind and talented.

How AB got him to be so angry at him probably speaks a lot to their relationship and his known status as a bit of a Diva. He really pushed Arians to a breaking point, which he reached on Sunday.

As for the injury stuff, I am assuming that it was typical stuff coaches in the NFL ask of injured players. It is really common for players to play hurt. I would assume this situation was probably Arians just not believing AB was as hurt as he said he was, and getting pissed off when he refused to go in and play.

I would assume that AB cried wolf enough times this season for Arians to not trust him.

If Arians and the Bucs were wrong and AB was right it still doesn’t excuse ABs behavior. It was a self-destructive way to react.

I think his NFL career is done but who knows? Maybe Jerry Jones will sign him. He signed Greg Hardy after he choked and threw around his girlfriend and threatened to kill her.

AB has seriously “misinterpreted” (being generous here) things in the past / lied his ass off.

It would not surprise me at all that the simplest explanation is that BA called it done for the day (angrily), AB interpreted as being cut and stormed off, and now is trying to find and/or make up retrospective justification for doing so.

No one should trust AB with the time of day, let alone those messages.

Not enough popcorn in the world for this bullshit.

Its possible he has CTE from so much brain damage from concussions… this is the NFL ya know. Major symptoms is dementia.

Minnesota hates Green Bay so much we have never even wanted that stupid old Lombardi trophy. Durn ol rodgers and his Hollywood GF… I am switching to watching golden state. Klay will be back! And Steph is so cute!

D’oh! I forgot about the Saturday game.

Chiefs up by 4. 4th Quarter, less than 2 minutes left. Travis Kelce injured? Chiefs with the ball. He mentioned another major Chiefs player potentially injured?

In a joint release from the “Why wait until black Monday” and “A surprise to no one since the bye-week” departments: Vic Fangio has been fired by the Broncos.

On consecutive snaps, both Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce exited the game limping. Sounds like both will be good to go next week for the playoffs though.

Man, what an ugly game. I expected the Chiefs to win easily, something like 35-10, pulling Mahomes in the 4th. Instead, it felt like the Chiefs back in their losing streak early in the year. They were very lucky to win this game, and it’s not what I wanted to see going into the playoffs.

Now hoping for a miracle and the Texans beating the Titans. Not gonna happen, especially if Henry is back. My brother is a huge Titans fan (he lives in Nashville) and I usually pull for the Titans if they’re not playing the Chiefs, but today every Chiefs fan is a Texans fan. The road to the Super Bowl is much easier in the AFC with a bye. And the AFC playoff path is going to be tough no matter what.
