Guess the Raiders hate the Chargers more than the Steelers.
It’s the Chargers own damn fault. They had to call that timeout and tempt fate.
The Raiders are going on my hate list for the next two years!
As last games of the regular season go that was pretty good.
I can’t imagine the memes the internet would have had for a tie though.

That was amazing. And bonkers. And as someone who really doesn’t have rooting interests beyond week to week, so goddamn much fun.
It’s the hot take, but it really did seem the Raiders were fine with a tie, and then the Chargers called that timeout.
And then the Chargers didn’t even burn their last time-out to try and ice the kicker.
What’s odd is they waited until the clock was under 40 to call the timeout. The play was about to start. So it wasn’t really to save clock. I don’t know what it was for.
Oh thank god. My gf is a Steelers fan, she’s asleep already as she’s starting work at 5am. I absolutely did f’n not want to have to deal with her tomorrow if this had ended in a tie, I was just sitting here watching this unfold with a look of horror on my face. What a relief, seriously.
Suffice to say the NFL and its TV partners lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvved this.
7 playoff teams per conference and an 18 week schedule is gonna be a permanent thing, I think.
