Well in NC we have Duke at #2 (I’m not a fan) and UNC at #8 (I am a huge fan.) I know those are the usual suspects, but growing up here means every kid has to pick a basketball team to pull for. Households and families are sometimes spit and have huge rivalries based on which NCAA team they like. And any sports bar here in NC on a Duke vs UNC ballgame night is a very loud, rowdy and dangerous place to be if you talk trash.

I’m ready for the tourney but I do think we need a bracket for QT3.

I’d be like @ArmandoPenblade, picking teams because I like the city, local food, or state better. I’d be reall town if the university of Colorado went up against a PNW team though.

You didn’t say it had to be baseball, and the Super Bowl is I suppose a one game series, so technically I believe one of these could be Joe Namath for the AFL Jets in 1969.

Skip the difference being you NC teams (even Davidson) have such a great Basketball heritage --while us UT Vols (aside from us woman BB) do not. We are very excited to see the Vols at #1! I have season tickets which I don’t use very much but I am getting over there more and more!

I just remembered this while talking with a friend of mine who was telling me they lost almost every game they bet on last season.

So, no Loser Bowl this year? Too bad. I stick with my Patriots for yet another Super Bowl! Did ya hear? We have Antonio Brown now! And Josh Gordon is back. Defenses don’t have a chance!
