San Francisco at Seattle
Dallas at Atlanta
Cleveland at Baltimore
Detroit at Green Bay - Green Bay has proven it’s one of the better bad teams and not nearly as good as any of the good teams, though they’ve played most of them hard. Of course, GB also sucks at home. Who knows what will happen here.
Houston at New England - They can’t lose this one, can they?
Jacksonville at Tennessee
Miami at Buffalo
N.Y. Jets at Minnesota
Pittsburgh at Carolina - Who’s going to start at QB for Carolina this week?
Tampa Bay at Chicago
Washington at New Orleans
Denver at Arizona - What scares me is that right now this is actually a risky pick.
Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants
St. Louis at Oakland - Finally, a team that can’t exploit St.Louis’ awful defense!
Kansas City at San Diego
Cincinnati at Indianapolis - What happened to Peyton Manning?

Hey for you smarty men - how does the Thursday game on NFL network work in local markets? Will I be able to see it on broadcast TV up here in Seattle, or am I fucked?

Can you pick up Canadian TV? It’s on either TSN or Sportsnet, if it’s not on Fox.

Should be able to see if it if the games sold out, otherwise blackout. That being said, I think the one of the local stations (Q13) airs all the games anyway.

I think it will be on UPN 11, Jeff.

Regardless of any national deals, all home games that are sold out 72 hours before kickoff are broadcast on local TV (an over-the-air station, even if it’s also carried on a cable system).

In fact, if you live in the Seattle blackout radius (75 miles?), you CAN’T watch the game on NFL Network if I remember the rules right. It’ll be blacked out there and carried on the local channel (should be the Fox channel, since it’s an NFC game). Dunno if it’s the NFL Network feed, or if it’ll be seperate announcers (I’d guess the NFL Network feed).

???

Why would it be on UPN?

I don’t know why, I just remember that’s the local channel they aired the Monday Night Football game on when MNF was in Seattle.

Huh. Then I guess that’s as good a guess as any for when the game is on a funny cable network.
