I’d like to petition that the NFL scrap the traditional NFC playoffs this year and just have the Giants, Cowboys, Eagles and Redskins face off in a 3-week round-robin tourney.

When the 4-1 Cowboys are in third place, you know you’re in a brutal division.

No shit right. Someone from that division is going to have to play on the road in a wild card game with a 12-4 record, I think.

God, what an idiot. Slide tackle you moron. And why aren’t they running the ball more at the end anyway? Horrible.

Couldn’t agree more. He’s no head coach. He’s in cruise control on the team Marty and A.J built and the clutch is slipping. If Chambers is hurt for an extended period of time, get out the shovel and pour dirt on these humps. You see how Miami played? There’s a team that is well-coached. Parcells has his handprints all over that team.

Home vs. away for the most part. I still like the Cards improving regardless due to the upgrade at head coach that I believe Whisenhunt is. They’ll end up hosting the Redskins in the wild card round and get bounced or something to that effect but hey, that’s a wild over-achievement in their books.

As a Skins fan, i’m ecstatic we won at Dallas, and then at Philly in successive weekends. I was hoping for a 3-3 record in the division (hold serve at home).

Skins have already played all their divisional road games now, right? And come away 2-1? Man. That November 30th game where they host the Giants may be a very, very big game.

(Looks at TV, throws picks in the garbage, leaves room)

(Follows suit)

I shot todays NY Giants Game with my Nikon D300 and 18-200VR from the mezzanine not expecting much, and am relatively happy with the results, plus the giants kicked the snot out of Seattle so that was good!

If anyone cares, full set is here:

Took over 500 photos, edited 146 and will probably print a couple dozen.

Hey Talisker, not to sound annoying but why no updated totals? I guess I’ve become spoiled . . .

:-)

Edit: Also, why is Rimbot/Rimbo listed as 0-0 going into this week on the summary a couple of days ago?

Answer to question #2: Because of a bug in the script I introduced with the Rimbo/Rimbot name change.

Answer to question #1: Because I haven’t fixed that bug yet – looking at it right now :)

More like “Re-Sucking”

Wow, this weeks picks killed me! Jeez. Still some good football (Indy, the Steelers/Jags game) and some really really bad football (Seattle…).

Wow, what the hell is wrong with San Diego?

Also, looks like the Patriots rediscovered their offense this week.

Norv. As Bill Dungsroman covered above.

No, that was an example of Mike Nolan hamstringing his own defense and playing a near-prevent base package for three quarters of the game. They lined up the corner 10 yards of the line on 3rd and 3 and gave up the easy first. They gave up 7 easy yards to put the Pats in field goal range and seal the victory. And on a number of plays, defensive rookie of the year LB Patrick Willis was lined up so deep he was practically a safety. He was tackling Welker 10 yards down the field and he had to come up to do it.

Wow, the coin flip ate a whole bag of dicks.

Speaking selfishly, it’s nice to finally have some company in the basement of the “people-who’ve-picked-every-week” club. :)

Yep. I’d have been happy with 1-2 from those three games…2-1 is just icing on the cake.

That November 30th game where they host the Giants may be a very, very big game.

I’m just looking to the Skins next 3 opponents. Rams, Browns, at Lions. 1-11 combined!
