Yeah you can easily beat the game with random big numbers gear. That said, the small % differences do add up if you take the time and optimize your build a bit. If you’re struggling it might be just the push you need. However, if you’re confidently beating bosses then it will maybe give you a couple seconds better kill time.
@TimJames do you play with damage numbers on or off? I am seriously considering turning them off so I can see what my target is doing better. I often don’t even see the attack coming after the damage numbers start rolling after a Heavenly Chain, not to mention having a familiar up and who knows what else. Thank god that at least burst counters are nicely highlighted.
