Northern Virginia Pre-New Years Qt3 Celebration

I am sadly now a midwestern lad. I’ll have to miss out on the shenanigans.

I’m still here and would be interested in gathering.

Hope the surgery went well yesterday, @Charlatan !

Looks like we have @Tin_Wisdom , @Aleck , and @Freezer-TPF interested as well. What timeframe works well for you folks? Weekday, weekend, evening, afternoons, particular days?

I literally have nothing to do other than take care of pets and be a tourist, so I can work my schedule around almost anything. My only current plans are to see a couple baseball games - drive up to Baltimore on Sun the 22nd (the Tigers are in town to play the Os, an obvious event for this Michigander) and go to the Nats game on Tues the 24th (just 'cause I’ve never been to that stadium). So any other day/time is open for me right now.

Surgery went great, thanks for asking!

My schedule is pretty wide open except for the evenings of Sept 21 and 28. Day, night, doesn’t matter.

Were you planning to attend the Nats game by yourself? I may be able to snag a pair of tickets for that game. I’ll let you know.

It would likely have to be an evening or weekend for me. I’m mostly flexible unless I have a kid/school thing. I will also be under the gun for a major project deadline during that time so that’s a wildcard I cannot fully plan around.

I’d only planned for myself, but of course if anyone else wants to go, the more the merrier!

I could probably make any evening work, but Tuesdays are rough.

My schedule is pretty flexible, generally, in the evenings and weekends. Stuff might come up, but if the rest of you can agree on a location, time, and date, I’ll do my damnedest to be there!

How about we aim for late afternoon or evening on Thurs Oct 3, then? Any known issues with that day right now? As for location I’ll defer to the locals if you have any suggestions.
