Remember: McCain went on TV and said that he couldn’t vote for this bill unless he got an assurance from Ryan that it wouldn’t pass the House. Ryan then wrote a statement to that effect that is now on the record.
And McCain still voted no. After all these other Senators voted for a bill that everyone said was toxic. There is so much ammunition for Dems for 2018 now it’s insane. McCain sold them all out.

Worth noting that even if McCain votes against the bill, it could still pass if Republicans manage to flip either Susan Collins, who is a hard no, or more likely, Lisa Murkowski. The Trump Administration has already threatened retribution against Murkowski for her opposition to the motion to begin debate on Tuesday.
This would be a great moment to grab a mic and shout “bring it motherfuckers.”
Maybe Trump can sell Alaska back to the Russians.

If it somehow passes, here’s what happens:
Senate and House go to conference
They hash out a new, still terrible bill
Senate can’t get 50 votes
House then passes the original skinny repeal
…Profit?!
Yeah, it depends on how long this holdout is. If it stays stuck in place with these three, eventually there will be more to join them.
That there haven’t been others joining means they think they can still flip one.
