Not to derail the thread, but do we still send an email to Vic if we need to re-download any games? All this talk has me in the mood to replay AE and SI, but I did not download them to this computer yet.
BMT Micro only keep your download link available for a certain period of time, however Vic agreed that’s simply unacceptable and will honour any receipt sent to him with a new download link (or at least, that’s how I remember it).

I’ve also lowered the prices on AE and SI to $14.99 each or $25 for both. It’s a bit of an experiment to see if the conventional wisdom is correct. I’m hoping that it brings up volume and revenues. I’d still like to get them both on steam someday. Gabe, Valve, Steam call me.
The price for The Occult Chronicles will be $19.99. I’ll probably set up a Greenlight page once I can get a video finished. I’ll post the link here if that happens.
14.99 for solium infernum! Wow! I’ve been meaning to buy several copies of this, but the price was just too much to justify 2-3 additional copies for lan get togethers, when I wasn’t even sure my friends would want to play it twice. At 14.99 per copy though, looks like I’ll have to make it happen.
I’m getting a strong Elder Signs:Omens vibe. I’ll be pre-ordering as soon as it goes live.

I think it was a matter of Steam turning down Vic. I recall him trying to get S.I. on Steam and being turned down.
They said no to AE and then I had a big tantrum and said some stupid things. For the record, I would definitely like to have all my games on steam. I’ll let everybody know when I get the greenlight pages up. First I have to finish this game and then I have to try and make some videos. I have to learn it anyway so I can make sports college recruiting videos for my kids starting next year so that will be a good motivation.
For OC my pitch is that if you like playing Betrayal House on the Hill or Mansions of Madness but can’t find a group of fellow board gamers then I think you might really like this game.
Never bought a Vic game though I tried all the demos. Just couldn’t get into them despite some effort, mostly I think because of the interface. Hoping this is the one for me, it certainly sounds awesome, even more to my taste than the previous games.
Sold. And I HAVE a group a fellow board gamers.
And Vic, for what it’s worth, playing SI with 3 close friends was one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had.
