Odd Musical Tastes: Something Really Different

It’s the 365 Days Project. The Web site says it offers, “One MP3 a day… for one year. Archived bi-weekly.” But that doesn’t really sum it up. You find the truly weird and wacky. Everything from Louis Farrakhan singing a Calypso tune transgender surgery “Is She Is Or Is She Aint” (April 1) to an little known Nevada band marchin band singing “I’m a Mormon” (January 5) which is actually a catchy little tune.

I’m not much of an audiophile, but I enjoyed checking out these tunes. It’s sort of like random blog updates, each with its own theme song. I think I originally found the site from a link here, but recently rediscovered it while organizing my favorites. It’s neat to see it complete.

Did you know there is a music forum? Go to the main index and look for it. It’s hidden with television and books and similar nonsense.

If you haven’t, you should read some of the entries on the linked page. It’s not really about music so much as it is a celebration of eccentricity.

Also, I am more of an EE poster.

The Dondero High School a capella choir’s rendition of ‘Fox on the Run’ is the best version I’ve heard yet.

I was just messing with you, Bull. Don’t take it too hard :).
