BTW, this isn’t to say Bush hasn’t done gone on Lebanon. Lining up with the rest of the world and telling (in effect) Syria to get out, was inspiring, and exactly the sort of thing we need to do. This is an entirely different thing than “it’s all because of Iraq,” of course; unified western diplomatic pressure for democracy is the antithesis of our Iraq policy.
