i really don’t like that dragon any more

What are the odds that small children will be eaten in this internet cartoon.

That would make more sense… until you realize that that dragon came from a 1920’s speakeasy.

I think that the dragon is going to get there… and V’s kids are going to kick its ass all prodigy style.

I expect that V is about to do something very drastic. The last few strips seem to be just about providing sufficient motivation.

Note the lack of breasts/arched back, which is Burlew’s iconic representation of the female form, on V’s mate.

Long hair alone means nothing.

…cue one deal with the devil.

Well, V does have one remaing out, the imp obviously. I’m not sure what the rules are on Dimensional Anchor as it isn’t in NWN, but he can theoretically teleport and either teleport the family elsewhere or (in a long shot) Charm Monster. Of course, V’s soul would be his in exchange for that.

What would binding a soul to the dragon do besides making sure it doesn’t go to the afterlife?

4 words? “Please save my children.”

I hope Burlew doesn’t take that easy path.

Can’t resurrect them? (Just a guess)

Yeeeahh. Another plot twist. Just what OOTS needs. That comic doesn’t update enough for all these threads. Roy’s been dead for what? Two years now (real time)? I like the comic, but it’s getting to be more like several webcomics, with one-or-two-month intervals on each one. If he keeps running them in the same time-space then Belkar’s “last year” might outlast social security.

I say learn from Yoko Ono. Get the band back together, Rich.

THIS POST’S POWER LEVEL IS OVER 9000!

Sorry for shouting.

The base of the Parent depicted is square (clearly see it from the right side around the apron) so it’s a male. Which, uh, might make V a female.

Well polygamous and/or gay with a side of adoption is still on the table but I’m gonna go with girl until proven otherwise.

But yeah I didn’t notice the square thing until it was pointed out.

Y’all are trying to use the cues of a stick figure to try and determine the gender of an elf in a webcomic.

Rich draws all his female characters with round bottoms, and all his male characters with square ones. The only exception to this rule is robed characters, because you can’t see their bottom. Go back and look for yourself.

i am not questioning the accuracy of your deductions

Aeon221

All female characters have rounded bottoms?

not the ones that wear skirts, I am afraid.

New one’s up.

Skirts and robes then. Either way, dude isn’t wearing a skirt, he’s wearing overalls and an apron.
