Looks like he’s got a backlog built up if he’s releasing them this fast. I wish he wouldn’t do that, but instead release steadily from his backlog to cover the inevitable future dry spells. Two in a week is nice, but avoiding the occasional mutli-week dry spells that he seems prone to would be ever nicer.

Still, I guess I can’t complain too much. New OOTS is never a bad thing.

Given that the recent hiatus was because he had dropped to once a week updating, I’m not sure what your point is. His goal for some time has been to update twice a week so this is just a return to that schedule.

The reference to the end of the book in this strip suggests that we haven’t reached that point yet, despite the assumption by many that when he brought Roy back that marked the obvious point.

I’m not sure what your point is either.

My point is just what I said, that he’s irregular and inconsistent in his deliveries. He’s gone weeks without updates in the past. If he can’t hit weekly consistently then when he does have productive spurts he ought to be building a backlog to smooth out future dips in productivity. Instead he seems to be releasing rapidly at a pace I’d be willing to bet he can’t sustain.

I’d love to be wrong and have this be the beginning of an extended golden age of two-a-week OOTS. It just doesn’t seem likely based on past performance.
