One of my favorite made up discipline lines for old Vampire was Defenestration.
Is that a reference to this Baginski video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7HMz1WKkso .
No, it’s due to the fact that the Czech’s were well known for that method of execution, especially during the Hussite rebellion.

Really? I thought it was a reference to the defenestration of Prague that started the 30-years war.
You’re BOTH probably right :) Multiple defenestrations of Prague, I think.
Defenestration is a Czech national hobby. The Hussite wars were first, though.

Paging Dingus. Paging Dingus. Please come to the white courtesy phone.
when my company’s server was running out of space i sent a company wide email asking them to defenestrate some files. also, my favorite part is HOORAY!
Mine too, that panel cries out for someone to turn it into an animated gif, with Elan and Tarquin waving their arms in the air like they just don’t care.
Oh man this one hits close to home. This is exactly the kind of loopy metagaming my D&D group sometimes goes in for when they are desperately lost. Hilarious stuff.
I have to say, the whole recent story arc has been fantastic. All the strips are both individually funny and building the zany plot nicely. Best run of OOTS in a long time.
Damn. It appears we’ll have to wait until the printed edition to se the inside of the dinosaur stable :-(

“And clown-jugglers, who juggle tiny clowns?” <3
I know I’m a week late, but D&D 3rd Edition has a spell called Defenestrating Sphere. When I read that line and cracked up, the first thing I thought of was that spell.

I didn’t realize it had been over a week since the last one, but a new one is up now.

I don’t get the last line.
Roy was confused by it, too, so don’t feel bad.
I took a run from V’s assault on Xykon to the present, which felt achingly slow as it was coming - it reads really nicely as a whole, tbh. But the last few have been sparkling. Plus the fourth wall shattering of not one but two Elans (plus! Nale, soon!) is going to be … well, fun.
That’s absolutely standard for OOTS. Reading the books, I’m always struck by Rich’s excellent pacing. Online, with days or weeks between strips, it’s very hard to appreciate.
