I just came here to post that. While I’m glad that the strip has another four years to run, I’m going to be very sad when the last strip is published. I wonder what Rich will do next?

He’ll be able to do side-stories and epilogues for a while, but no doubt he’s smart enough not to draw that out indefinitely.

Even on such a great run, this one stands out. Almost “Sexy, Shoeless God of War” good.

I really doubt Rich wants to give him access to something so large on a regular basis. It would screw with the proportions of the strip anytime it was used, which is fine for a one shot but not for an ongoing thing.

(but I did have the same thought about Belkar. Then again, I’ve been wrong about when the Belkster will bite it many times already)
