The Metamorph league is one of, if not the most, favorite league ever! I love the mechanism of building your own boss and choosing the drops you would like to get. And the patch where they added automatically picking up body parts was such a quality of life improvement it rocketed the league to the top of my list.
I’m having a great time… I’ve leveled three characters almost to maps that’s how much I’ve been playing it!
Is there anything significant about a mirror weapon? I got a mirror 2H axe drop but the stats weren’t that great and I didn’t need them so I just vendored them. Hopefully that wasn’t a big mistake, but nothing to be done about it now if it was.
Mirrored items are generally junk items, mirrored just means you can’t modify it in anyway, and it dropped at the same time as another identical item. The first wouldn’t have said mirrored and would have been able to be modified.
If you sell both at the same time you get a chance orb in return, and I think an alchemy if the item level is high enough though it’s been a while and I wouldn’t swear on the alchemy.

The other “more useful” source of mirrored items is via Mirror of Kalandra, the rarest currency drop in the game and it lets you make a copy of any (non corrupted) item in the game (and gives it the mirror status).
This is what people use on 700 DPS one handed swords and things of that nature. The owners have them up for “mirror service” for a large fee.
They are currently worth ~20k chaos orbs.
Couple of questions relating to gear I’ve found:

I unveiled a +1 to Zombies/Skeletons on a Str/Evasion chestpiece. My Necro can’t even equip it unless I get 20 more Dexterity, which isn’t a problem but it would require respeccing 2 nodes (I don’t have any gear that I can slap dex onto!). Is this even going to be worth pursuing, since I need to make it a 5L with 3 blue and 2 red sockets? All the work I’d have to do seems like a bridge too far.

I did the Lich in an Abyssal Depths (never seen that before) with my Ice Crash melee guy and got two good drops:
Bubonic Trail Boots (2 abyssal sockets)
and
Darkness Enthroned Stygian Vise
Uh, I guess that’s not a question. But the lich fight was fun.
So it seems the game wants me to equip a bunch of Abyssal Jewels. I can’t make the belt work though, as I lose way too much in terms of resists and damage by equipping that (I’ve already got unique gloves and a helm so I’m barely squeezing in resists as it goes).
Holy cow, just price checked the boots and they sell for 50 chaos.
I wouldn’t worry about the chest with +1 zombies/skeletons. That mods is nice to have, but it’s much more important IMHO to get solid defensive stats on your body armor. Something with big life and resists is going to save your life plenty, more than the DPS boost from an extra walking dead is worth.
And congrats on the boots drop! I didn’t see a lich in my play time so far. Maybe once I get back from The Trip one will make an appearance.

You need good abyss jewels to make the belt work, and they are most useful for elemental attack builds, as those are the strongest numeric mods that are thus able to affected by the 50% increased effect.
e.g
Max roll life is 36-40 life x 1.5 (50% increased effect) x 2 (two sockets) = 108 - 120 life
40 base elemental damage -> 120 base damage
40 ele resist -> 120 total resist
Good abyss jewels are expensive, while the belt is the most common drop from liches
How often does GGG run stash sales? Mine are getting full and I don’t mind throwing some money at them but I can wait a bit if it’s likely a sale is coming.
I feel like stash tab sales happen quite often; I’ve had too many for a while so I don’t pay attention anymore, but I feel like it’s once a month or so.

It’s almost always over a weekend that they run stash tab sales. Though with the holiday you may see some stuff more often than that.
Heh, same here. I have 18 I believe. Way too many to actually organize anymore. I went back to Grim Dawn this weekend, and faced the harsh reality of not having unlimited space anymore.

That sounds about right. I bought a couple of special stash tabs that were on sale around then… the Fragments one (which isn’t terribly useful) and the maps tab,(which IS terribly useful!). I am kicking myself for not buying one (or more?) unique tabs since I have so much of my stash taken up with uniques. I guess I ought to buy the Delve one too since that will be the last specialized one I don’t have.
