I have lots of uniques that are meant for builds I don’t plan to play, e.g. most melee. How to decide which ones to donate to the guild and which to vendor? I wouldn’t want to fill up the guild inventory with trash but I really don’t know which ones are good.
I put anything I don’t want in the guild stash and let Bob worry about trashing it!
I put stuff in the Guild stash when I think it will be useful for someone, it’s a dupe of what I have, etc. I take stuff out when I think I can use it, and generally put it back in once it’s been superseded. The more stuff in there the better for choices, as long as it’s not utter junk. Lowbie rares are often helpful, as are all uniques pretty much, and good links. Eventually the stash gets organized (erm, I mean, @ineffablebob organizes it!).
I see you’re all relying on my obsessive organization of virtual spaces. Glad someone gets some use out of it! :)
Maybe I haven’t said this but I love creating a build late in a league. I just go to the guild stash and grab 1 billion pieces of gear and/or uniques and it’s off to the races! So thanks for organizing things @ineffablebob

I haven’t played POE since the syndicate league and I have no idea what I should be doing with the syndicates. Can someone give me a simple basic strategy or suggest a good guide? Thanks
Says that name doesn’t exist. Are you in the standard Delirium league?

This guide document was linked on the subreddit and is a nice compilation of all the mini-guides and such some community members could find in one place:

Probably overwhelming at first glance, but click on the Betrayal tab and there’s a mini-guide and cheatsheet. Basically, you’re looking at the rows on the cheatsheet as the 4 options for where you can push the NPCs to get different rewards.
So, if you see Cameria and he’s in Fortification but you have the option to move him to Intervention in the dialogue and popup, you check the rewards for each and determine which you’d prefer. In this case, Cameria in Intervention is almost always better since Sulphite Scarabs are very valuable (unless you’re SSF and don’t want to delve, in which case you might make the reverse decision.)

My main builds that I use are Copied from the POE site. One is a Rain of Arrows build, and the other is a Spectral Throw. I also just recently tried a Maurauder build, heading towards Righteous Fire, but I don’t have the gear to build out the skills properly, so I’m using Earthquake in a 4-link.
I think I do belong to the guild, but my preferred method of starting a new league is SSF. And this is why I posted my complaint about the Boss buff. SSF is a GGG created league format, but the buff is a huge slap in the face to people who play SSF. It’s very, very hard to get the right gear to the the DPS you need for these.

Just to add a final thought to my last post, and in response to you all saying that the buff was intended to make the game more challenging:
That’s exactly what SSF was to me. A way to make the game more challenging. You can’t farm for gear to make optimal builds to down bosses. So a huge buff to bosses makes SSF almost unplayable. IMHO, of course.

yes standard delirium. But I realize this may be case sensitive. If so, please try VeruvcaNine

Thanks for the link and the tip!
Nope, same thing. But you’re on my friends list, so I can invite when you’re online. Probably just a typo somewhere!
On the subject of the syndicate stuff, I almost always just take whatever looks like the best reward at the time…usually the biggest boost to filling up a safehouse bar. I’m probably missing some safehouse drops that way, but I just don’t have the patience to futz around with trying to move dudes into the right spot on the investigation chart.
I’m currently at the start of Act 3 in a SSF Delirium run and my primary skill has been Rain of Arrows. I don’t really play the game with a specific build in mind but what do you build around with Rain of Arrows?

thanks! what’s your main character name? I’ll pop in to POE and add it before my next Skype
You can add me with ineffablebob, but I don’t think you need to. Pretty sure if you’re on my friends list, I’ll show up on yours.

I loosely follow this build:
I say loosely follow because most builds like this require trading/buying specific gear to make them viable. I follow the build mainly for the passive skills selections.
